1. HOW to BOOK MY TRIP?

It is highly recommended to book your trip in advance to guarantee your seat on board and benefit from the best fare.

Onboard sales are not possible; the driver will under no circumstances be able to sell you a ticket.

To purchase your tickets, please go to :

  • The “Book your ticket” page,
  • The ticket office at Rennes Bus Station, called "Espace Korrigo", during opening hours,
  • The Tourist Offices of Saint-Malo, Cancale, Combourg and Dol-de-Bretagne, during opening hours.

Proof of eligibility may be required if you have purchased a reduced fare ticket (under 26 years old or under 4 years old). Any person holding a reduced fare ticket who is unable to present proof may be refused boarding.

2. Can I change my ticket?

The tickets can be changed up to 24h before your departure.

A modification link is included in your order confirmation email. By clicking on this link, you can change the date of your trip (the route cannot be changed).

To change a ticket purchased at the Rennes Train station or at a Tourism Office, please contact Customer Service, Monday to Friday, by email at montsaintmichel@keolis.com.

After 24 hours, it will no longer be possible to modify the ticket.

Any ticket modification incurs a fee of €2.50 per modified ticket.

When modififying a ticket, the original fare conditions are no longer guaranted. The price may have increased due to high demand and/or late purchase. The user will then have to pay the fare diffrerence to benefit from the current price.

Please make sure to check your order carefully before purchasing !

Yes, thanks to the « combined ticket », you can travel on our two lines at the price of a return ticket (from €25).

Example 2: On the same day, you can take the bus Saint-Malo > Mont Saint-Michel, spend the day at Mont Saint-Michel and then take the car Mont Saint-Michel > Rennes.

Please, check the circulation days of your line.

5. where can I catch the bus?

From Rennes, the trip lasts about 1 hours 15 minutes. The departure point is :

  • Bus station, Boulevard Solférion, 35 000 Rennes.

From Saint-Malo, the trip lasts about 1 hour, with two pickup locations :

  • "Esplanade Saint Vincent", a bus stop located facing "Porte de Saint Vincent" near the taxis;
  • "Bus Station, quai F", 10 Avenue Anita Conti, 35400 Saint-Malo.

6. Will I have enough time at Mont Saint-Michel to visit the entire site?

Throughout the years, we have adapted our schedules, depending on the feedback from the Mont Saint-Michel visitors. The average visiting time in the Mont Saint-Michel is less than 4 hours. Do not worry, you will have enough time to see this Wonder.

7. MAY I TRAVEL WITH MY LUGGAGE?

All our vehicles are equipped with compartments to accommodate your bags.

However, for security reasons (implementation of the Vigipirate plan), it is not possible to keep your luggage on the coach during your visit. The Tourist Information Center (located at Place des Navettes at Mont Saint-Michel) can inform you where to leave your luggage.

8. Can I travel with my pet?

Small pets are tolerated if they are carried on the knees, in a closed basket, and do not soil or inconvenience other travelers.

Guide dogs or assistance dogs are exempt from this rule and are therefore admitted free of charge on board the vehicles. It is important to mention this when making the reservation. For everyone's safety, the dog must wear a harness and stay close to its handler throughout the journey.

9. Can I travel with my BICYCLE?

Only folding bikes placed inside a 0,80m x 0,80 x 0,45m protective cover are allowed on the luggage compartment. Otherwise, bikes are not allowed on board.

11. Is the trip accessible for wheelchair users ?

Yes, depending on the route taken and subject to specific conditions.

  • On the Rennes - Mont Saint-Michel line, a designated space for a whellchair is available on board, subject to availability.
  • On the Saint-Malo - Mont-Saint-Michel line, it is not possible to accomodate a passenger traveling seated in their wheelchair. If you can travel in a seat, your fordable manual wheelchair can be transported for free in the hold, provided you are accompanied.

How to make a reservation and what are the deadlines?

We invite you to fill out and send us the form at least 3 working days before departure to montsaintmichel@keolis.com, along with a copy of your Mobility Inclusion Card (or equivalent) if you have one. Customer service will respond within 24 to 48 working hours. On the day of travel, arrive 15 minutes before departure and check in with the driver.

Can I travel sitting in my wheelchair?

Yes, only on the Rennes - Mont Saint-Michel bus, if the wheelchair is approved and conforms to the following maximum dimensions : length of 107 cm (including footrest) and width of 72 cm. For electric wheelchairs, headrest and footrests are mendatory. Please indicate this information in the form; if non-conforming, we may have to refuse the reservation for safety reasons.

Can I transport a folding wheelchair in the hold?

Yes, on all routes, a foldable manual wheelchair can be transported free of charge in the hold. Any electric assistance must be removed before loading, and folding must be done by the accompanying person. Transporting the wheelchair in the hold is at your own risk; we recommend protecting your equipment. For safety, getting on and off must be done with the help of the companion, not the driver.

Do I need to be accompanied and what assistance is provided?

Each traveler must be able to move safety and autonomously; otherwise, an adult companion, capable of assisting from boarding to disembarking, is required. The companion benefits from a 25% discount. The driver cannot provid prolonged medical care or physical assistance.

For more information, please refer to General Conditions of Sale.

12. Do the vehicles have toilets ?

No, our vehicles are not equipped with toilets.

Public restrooms are available at the Rennes Bus Station, the Saint-Malo Tourist Office, and the Tourist Information Center at Mont Saint-Michel.
